Yesterday VMware published a new maintenance release for VMware View Manager. The new version 4.0.2 does resolve issues in different areas.

Today I’ve found an question in the VMware Enterprise Desktop online community forums where a member asked if someone could explain the difference between the terms Reset, Refresh, Recompose and Rebalance in context of VMware View. Some of you are familiar with that but I think it’s worth to explain.

The easiest way to configure the View Manager with the VMware vCenter is to use the Administrator account however this is mostly not the best choice. Companies want to use special service or administration account with the maximum permissions needed instead of using a all-permission-user.
