Can I bypass a proxy server when using VMware View Client?

The VMware View client uses the proxy configured in the Internet Explorer settings when connecting to the connection server. In this case you’ll need to let the View client know that it should bypass a proxy server this will be configured in the Windows Registry. Just open the Windows Registry Editor and navigate to:

HKLM\Software\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\ . The new key which will be needed must be named ProxyBypass and is from type Multi SZ. The value for the key is the hostname or IP address of the proxy server.
