VMware View KB Update: 08. July 2008
Today two new articles for VMware View were created on VMware Knowledge Base which could help you if you have client or agent issues.
Symptoms
- Connecting to the virtual desktop from the VMware View client fails
- You see the error :
Virtual Desktop in not available - When viewing the virtual desktop in the View Admin console in the Desktop Sources View, the virtual machine status shows as:
Waiting for Agent
View Composer agent initialization state error (-1000) when provisioning virtual desktops
Symptoms
After successfully creating a linked clone, you may see the following error in the View Admin page (under Desktop Sources) during the provisioning of the virtual desktops:
View Composer agent initialization state error (-1000): SVI status not available (waited -1000 seconds)
